Austalian Customs import threshold changed
Customs have changed the threshold for imports, its now $1000.
New Customs By-laws Numbers 0540003 and 0540004 apply the ‘Free’ duty rate under Item 32A or 32B of Schedule 4 of the Customs Tariff Act 1995 to a consignment of goods imported into Australia if the customs value does not exceed $1,000. Section 42-5 of the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 specifies that if these goods are duty free, they are also non-taxable importations.

Musical breasts
Yet another useless use for Bluetooth. :)
A company is currently developing a microchip that stores music files and can be built into a breast implant, the Sun reports.
BT Futurology apparently intend on developing a musical double act for the bosoms, which would see an MP3 player installed in one mammary, and music files in the other.
The whole ensemble could then be managed via Bluetooth wireless technology.

Lunar Eclipse
There was a partial lunar eclipse in Sydney Australia, on the 16th July 2000. A took a few photos with my camera, from out the back of my house. It was a tad cloudy, but a few came out quite well I think.
See the gallery for all the goodies.
